Core competencies

The Biocer GmbH is engaged in the research and development of novel biomaterials for various medical applications and their transfer into implants and medical devices, respectively. Therefore, efforts made are covering the whole process chain from the development and the processing of new materials, the understanding of the interaction between material and biosystem, the materials design, as well as special product engineering for the production of implants or medical devices.

In this scope, different processes like powder technology, sol-gel method, and special techniques like electrophoresis, biomimetic engineering and rapid prototyping are undergoing defined improvements.
