Core competencies

We manufacture individually designed bells in all sizes in our works in Passau-a Bavarian city that has been a location for bell making since the middle ages. Each Perner bell, peal, chime or carillon enriches the unique and characteristic soundscape of any location. We manufacture
bells with minor or major thirds, optionally based on octave, septime or sext with the appropriate weights. The mounting is performed by our team of skilled technicians or optionally with the assistance of local workers. Long-term, practical knowledge concerning the installation of
the whole ringing unit is our best advertisement ensuring flexible and faultless solutions.
Carillons: We assist our customers in planning both the musical and the optical design. Our chimes can by played manually or automatically controlled.
Belfries & Constructions: Wood is a living natural building material. It has the advantage of high durability and promotes the acoutic surroundings of the bells in the tower. Our construction gives high aestetical satisfaction.
Fittings: To effect the aestetics of the bell in it's equipment, too, craftmanslike forging and locksmithing is performed in the PERNER works using approved techniques.
Ringing machines: The drive supplied by the bell founder provides the most favorable integration of his know-how comprising of all components of the ringing system with the musical aspects. Clock and clock faces for towers, town halls and memorials: Over 40 years Perner has been
producing numerous and manifold clock faces with different shapes of hands.
Service: We develop individual solutions for many details concerning the ringing unit or tower clocks based on thoroughly documented site visits.
