Products/services: The LGAD as the Association of Wholesale, Foreign Trade, Distribution and Service Industry is the leading organization in its sectors in the State of Bavaria. In collaboration with its 1.000 members the LGAD influence on legislation by working with the parliament, government and relevant ministries. Another task of the LGAD is to inform members in a timely manner about new developments as well as about legal and regulatory changes. The LGAD organizes events in order to promote the imports and exports with countries in Europe and abroad, as well as seminars. The LGAD has a staff of 20 qualified experts and supports its members in the following questions: Public Relations, Foreign Trade, Collective Bargaining and Social Policy, Working Law, Competition Law, Taxes and Finance, Environment, Transport, Logistics and Communications. Furthermore, the LGAD offices in Munich and Nuremberg have good relations with policy-makers, other leading associations and international organizations.
