Products/services: Faculty of Computer Science In view of the development of computer science, which in the meantime permeates all disciplines with its manifold application possibilities, it is not unjustifiably seen as a new universal science. Since the introduction of the diploma degree programme in Computer Science in 1985 in the Department of General Sciences and since the official foundation of the Department of Computer Science in 1999, the faculty with its approx. 900 students today has recorded remarkable growth.
