Experimental investigations on engines can be carried out on 13 individual test beds with a stationary brake power of 700 kW and 420 kW in dynamic operation. The use of different fuels like gasoline, diesel, gas in different compositions and hydrogen is possible. The testbed is equipped with modern exhaust analysers with the possibility to measure particles and single components. There's also the posibility for research in engine components, like injection system with a spray chamber.
